Men’s Group - Come see what it’s about! Meetings are open to new members. First and Third Thursday of each month at 7 PM.

Women’s Group - Those who wish join our soup and pot luck salad supper come at 5:30 p.m. with something to toss in to the salad. New women are always welcome! Call the office for directions. Third Thursday 6:30 - 8:30.

Chalice Circles are closed groups of 6-10 people who meet monthly to discuss spiritual, ethical, and interpersonal topics following a prescribed format. The group adopts a covenant of respectful interaction, and agrees to perform an annual service project for the congregation or wider community. All are welcome to sign up for these new circles; others will form as interest is shown.

Environmental Sustainability Discussion Courses and Pot Luck - The Environmental Sustainability Committee hopes to host Menu for the Future from the Northwest Earth Institute in the fall and follow up in the winter with a discussion of the Ethical Eating Study/Action issue. They meet on the First Tuesday of each month at 6 PM..

LISTEN Dinners On the first Monday of every other month, our congregation hosts a free community dinner for anyone who would like a good meal. Everyone is invited to come help with meal set-up (3:30), preparation or clean-up afterwards. The meal is served at 5 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on route 5 in White River Junction. To sign up to help or to donate a home-made dessert, contact Rich Greenlee (802-436-1150) First Monday of every other month, beginning in October.

Nonviolent Communication - can it be the key to Peace? Come explore this aspect of our association wide Study Action Issue: Peacemaking Plans in the works! Watch for announcements here or in The Call!

Knitting Group meets once or twice a month, welcomes all who knit (or wish to learn) or those with other portable crafts who are interested in joining us for creativity, conversation, laughter and a cup of tea. Sometimes we join together to do some sort of service project, but mostly, the group is a place to take a break from our "to do" lists together! Meets on varying weeknights - keep your eye on the Call.

Writers’ Group - Do you keep a journal, write poetry, short stories, or plays of any level or genre? Here’s an hour-long opportunity to: read aloud and get positive feedback; have some quiet time to write; share a favorite writing resource; talk about writing with others. Drop ins welcome! Third Tuesday of each month at 5:15.

Bible Study every Wednesday from October 22nd through May at 5 PM.

Transcendentalist Spirituality - The mystic side of American Unitarianism has much to teach twenty-first century UUs about the first source of modern UUism: “Direct experience of that transcending mystery and wonder, affirmed in all cultures, which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces that create and uphold life.” Planned for October - call the office and keep your eye on the Call!

New UU - What are the present and future of Unitarian Universalism? You are! If you’re curious about your place in the UU movement and wish to explore congregational membership, please join us! Wednesdays, November 5 - 19, evening Saturday, April 4, mid-day

UU Parents - As our kids’ primary religious educators, we have an exciting and rewarding job. Find companionship, share stories, collect ideas. We’ll gather during coffee hour on Sunday mornings, keep an eye on The Call and the announcements in the bulletin for dates - approximately every other month.
