Library Committee

The main purpose of the Library Committee is to maintain the UUCUV library and to catalog and process library materials. The chair will oversee regular work sessions to catalog and cover new materials and make catalog and checkout cards for them. The chair will purchase processing materials as needed and purchase new books as recommended and when financially possible. Members of the committee will shelfread to make sure the library is in order and track checked out materials. The committee will cooperate with other groups that use the meetinghouse. The chair (or a delegate from the committee) will attend quarterly COC meetings. The chair will submit regular articles to The Call, including new acquisitions, committee work, and perhaps a book review. If possible, to raise people's awareness of the library, a committee member will periodically take library materials to Sunday services for perusal or checkout.
