Welcome to Sunday School!
We support parents by nurturing children in a safe environment where they are encouraged to explore religious and moral values and gain the skills necessary for lifespan faith development.
Our volunteers serve children from nursery age through eighth grade with worship, fun, fellowship, values and Unitarian Universalist identity.
This fall, we will explore our UU identity through the Seven UU Principles.
This winter, we will prepare a Christmas pageant in December, then turn to a special project in a one room classroom for January and February.
This spring, we will focus on the Tapestry of Faith and our mission for peacemaking by celebrating diversity.
The UUCUV is proud to be a Welcoming Congregation, and we welcome children from all families to our Sunday School.
We create a dynamic curriculum tailored to a range of learning styles inspired by our core UU principles and drawn from our sources.
Families begin worship together at 10 AM in the Multipurpose Room. We’ll share a hymn and a story for the children, after which teachers and students go to Sunday School.
