Sunday School Elementary Grades: Star-Kids!
Elementary Choices!
Kids in grades 1 - 5 learn in exciting and fluid ways. To meet the kids where they are, we offer them choice and variety in how they approach their spiritual work.
First Sundays - Children’s Chapel, full of music, stories, worship. We take a collection and donate it to our justice project of the year.
Fall Term: Who Am I as a Unitarian Universalist?
The children will use the Tapestry of Faith curriculum: Love Connects Us to explore their identity and heritage as Unitarian Universalists.
Feeling Quiet? The quiet class choice - the Mellow Maroon Mountains - for elementary children uses music, guided meditation, and Spirit Play lessons for the children’s explorations of the Seven Principles.
Winter Term: One Room Schoolhouse
December The whole Sunday School will prepare songs and a simple pageant for presentation on December 19th
January & February the whole Sunday School will work on lessons from the Tapestry of Faith curriculum: Windows and Mirrors.
Spring Term: Unitarian Universalists are Peacemakers
We return to Love Connects Us with special emphasis on our mission as Peacemakers.
