Sunday School: Junior Youth - Relationship and Relevance

Kids in grades 6 - 8 have amazing opportunities in worship, action, fun, learning, and leadership. This is your community of acceptance and encouragement!

First Sunday of each month, the Junior Youth are in charge of the Chapel service - come early and report straight to the library to plan and set up.

Second and Third Sundays, it's a visit to a neighboring house of worship or an active discussion of living our values and surviving middle school through music, spiritual practice, and making practical decision making based on values clarifications.

Fourth Sundays (most of them, anyway), it will be a junior-youth-directed environmental project.

Brian Doyle, our Junior Youth Advisor, is a Dartmouth Med student who's been active at the UUCUV for two years. Brian participates in the UUA's Chrysalis continuing education modules for youth advisors. Brian.doyle@dartmouth.edu.

Please ask questions! Lori Fortini, mother of one of our Junior Youth, would love to chat: Lori.Fortini(at)hitchcock.org. You can always contact Sparrow Alden, our Director of Religious Education: LFSAlden@alumni.bowdoin.edu.
