Sunday School: Junior Youth - Relationship and Relevance

Kids in grades 6 - 8 have amazing opportunities in worship, action, fun, learning, and leadership. This is your community of acceptance and encouragement!

First Sunday of each month, the Junior Youth are welcome to participate in the Chapel service - come early, help plan and set up, bring your own poetry, teach us a new song, and work on your leadership skills.

Second Sunday of each month, Junior Youth and their advisor, Christine McDonough, explore Unitarian Universalist identity and our calling to minister to the Earth as a Green Sanctuary. Expect to learn through lessons, field trips, hikes, pizza parties, work parties and sleepovers.

Get excited about the life of your congregation! You can sing with the choir, do readings or play instruments in worship services, greet, host coffee hour, come to knitting night, help at LISTEN dinners… We even need someone to mow the Meeting House lawn!

Coming of Age is for folks who’ve finished seventh grade to go deeper into their own spiritual space - ask Sparrow or Christine about it!

Please contact our Credentialed Religious Educator, Sparrow F. Alden, with any questions: LFSAlden@gmail.com

Keep track of the lessons, schedule, and logistics here.
