Partner Church - Unitarian Church of Mukhap

At the June 14, 2008 annual meeting, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Upper Valley voted to join in a partnership with the Unitarian Church of Mukhap in the Khasi Hills of India. What does this mean? What is a Partner Church? We are just beginning to find out.

We are learning about Mukhap and Unitarianism in India. We are listening to the ideas that our minister Bruce Johnson has brought back from his trip to India this fall. We are figuring out ways to communicate with the people of Mukhap. We are planning the direction of our partnership. Please join in this new and challenging opportunity for our congregation..
