Partner Church Study Group Begins This Fall

The Partner Church Committee has taken a summer hiatus. We have been reexamining our expectations for the partnership with the Mukhap Unitarian Church. Goals for the coming year include a study group on six topics relating to Northeast India and the presence of Unitarianism there. The study group is open to everyone. It will take place on Wednesday evenings after the regular Ka Jingialang meeting. The first session will be September 23 at 7:00 pm.

Phil Kern will examine the natural history of Northeast India, including the geology of the region, plant life, animals and birds. Please join us for this session and any of our meetings.

When Claudia Kern and Rev. Bruce attended General Assembly in Salt Lake City at the end of June, they were able to meet with Helpme Mohrmen from Meghalaya and gathered promising ideas concerning partner church relationships and international outreach in general.
